Ethics of Trauma-informed Research Webinar Series 2023

Webinar Playlist

The Ethics of Trauma-informed Research Webinar Series (2023) was co-hosted by the UBC-V Public Humanities Hub and the University of Victoria’s Survivor-Centred Visual Narratives (SCVN) project, with support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). This virtual webinar series presented a set of conversations to connect with community at the beginning of the Survivor-Centred Visual Narratives project. It supports team building across the Research Clusters by exposing partners to different levels of expertise, promoting inter-cluster awareness, and energizing and de-siloing the research. The webinars are a form of participatory action, which is at the core of SCVN’s research, as well as reciprocal relationships and knowledge exchange on the project. Recordings are available below, and the Trauma-Informed Research Toolkit developed from this series is available here.
