Our Scholar Spotlight Stories aim to showcase and celebrate the breadth and depth of humanities research at UBC by spotlighting humanities faculty, staff, and students whose work is community-engaged, public-facing, and/or produced in and with the public.

The Public Humanities Hub is happy to help develop communication plans, recommend speakers and team members, and advise on grant applications.

Previous offerings
#HumaniSeries
HumaniSeries was a three-part campaign focused on UBC public humanities scholars: #HumaniReads, #HumaniStories, and #HumaniTalks. It was launched as a social media campaign on “Life in a time of COVID,” where scholars talked about how to survive social isolation, what to read, and how to stay connected.
