Ying Han is a recent graduate of the Department of Asian Studies Master’s program. Her research focus was on contemporary Asian / American women’s literatures and creation myths, focusing on depictions of pregnancy, consumption, and the more-than-human through a queer theoretical lens. She is a big fan of collaborative projects, a highlight of which being co-creating the Framing Asia film series at UBC. She previously worked as the Grants Editor with UBC Arts Amplifier to help make experiential learning opportunities possible for grad students, and is excited to be coming back to the PHH after two years as the new summer Communications Assistant.
