Getting to the building

This Wayfinding Map includes accessible directions to the RBC Cinema from areas across campus as well as the location of the Accessibility Shuttle stops.

  • UBC’s Accessibility Shuttle provides pick-up and drop-off at designated stops and follows a set schedule. Transfer times vary and it may be difficult to arrive on time. The closest shuttle stop is Stop 5: Flagpole Plaza. Learn more at the UBC Accessibility Shuttle page. 
  • Vehicle passenger drop-off:
    • There is an entrance off of Crescent Road that can be pulled up to.
    • Passengers can also alight at the Flagpole Plaza roundabout.

Building access and wayfinding

  • Walk past the main entrance to the Chan Centre down Crescent Road. Past the main building is a smaller entrance located further in on ground level labelled “Royal Bank Cinema.”
  • Entrance to the room will be on the right.

Seating

  • Furnished with cushioned seats with collapsing desk trays.
