Sex and the War on Terror at 25

September 11, 2026 | The year 2026 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, and the formal declaration of the War on Terror. This event brings together leading queer and feminist scholars to examine how gender and sexuality function as technologies of governance and securitization, and sites through which terror is produced, rendered legible, and mobilized.
